Dunehoo’s background spans NYC independent theater, filmmaking—including his feature horror debut WRETCH (Night Visions, Helsinki)—and mental-health advocacy through his podcast MINDBEND. After a pair of hand-mangling accidents during the pandemic, MCSR evolved into a one-man band: painful guitar, fake candles, real spells.
The debut album “Que Linda” (CLEARLY Records, 3.14.25) honors his late mother Linda, who painted the cover before passing from ovarian cancer in 2024.
Sometimes a chicken can be a powerful omen.
